Although a sequel, the good news from an audience perspective is that you don’t need to have watched the first one to follow this one. Having said that, it does give substantial references to the first one.
The film is a complete laugh riot, although it does try a little too hard. But as audience we don’t get bored and the story keeps moving along. Some of the characters, such as that of Obama, etc, and the corresponding dialogues, are absolutely hilarious.
From an acting perspective, Sikander and Piyush really shine. Of course the rest are all very solid and there is not one bad actor in this ensemble. The dialogues are spot on and funny too.
The songs, especially the introductory rap of Obama is hilarious. Sikander does the American Texan accent just right and then also excels in the Punjabi accent. All in all never a dull moment.
Where the film could have done better is the instance of forced humor. A lot of times it does not flow and to the audience it appears forced. Also it sometimes loses it way and wastes too much time trying to make the same point, as opposed to moving on to the next scene.
The visuals are good and attention to details is apparent. Overall you will definitely not get bored in this one.
